Show NORTH COUNTY NEWSPAPERS Page 13 Obituaries essia Nancy Innes Groll Thursday, December 1, 2005 h Sing-in to fake place e Tabernacle on Friday Nancy Innes Groll passed away peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family Monday Novem ber 28, 2(X)5. She was born December 24, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Russell and Phebe Weston Innes. She married Steven Groll on March 17, 1973 in the Provo Temple. She is the mother of 3 children Nanette (Bart) Brockbank, Weston, and Rebecca (Josh) Peck and 3 grandchildren; grand-children; Stockton, Kennedie and Weston. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life. Nancy graduated with honors from Lehi High School and Utah State University. She was active in the LDS church, where she was currently serving as Stake Relief Society secretary. Nancy held many positions including it Young Women's president, Relief Society teacher, and Ward Activities Committee chairman. Nancy also faithfully served 2 missions; at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City and the Missionary Training Center in Provo, where she shared her testimony and love of the gospel. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, her sister Paula (Kip) Peterson, her brother Weston (Jody) Innes and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy touched the lives of everyone every-one she knew. Join us as we honor Nancy's life on Friday December 2nd from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Highland Utah West Stake Center, 1 1X) North XX) West, Highland. Funeral services will be held Saturday Satur-day December 3rd at 1 1:00 am at the Highland West Stake Center. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Internment will be in Lehi City Cemetery. Maxine Donaldson Biggins Maxine, age 81, passed away No vember 29, 2005 in American Fork. She was born Jan 22, 1924 in Standardville, Carbon County, Coun-ty, Utah to Waller Robert and Mary Morgan Mor-gan Donaldson. She married Charles Perry Biggins on July 15, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She referred to him lovingly as her "beau" up until the very end. We know that she is delighted de-lighted to be reunited with "Biggins." She was a woman ahead of her time, working in the banking industry for 20 years. She was a devoted grandma grand-ma tol4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She will be missed by her 4 daughters, Kathleen, Marian, Mar-ian, Barbara and Janice and her best friend, Tipper. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec 2, 2005 at 1 1 am in the American Fork 26th Ward, 975 N 60 E. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 1(X) N, American Ameri-can Fork. Interment, American Fork Cemetery. ASD meetings for boundary change NORfH COUNTY STAFf The Alpine School District has scheduled three public meetings during the next two weeks to present suggested boundary adjustments ad-justments to accommodate three elementary school expected to open in Aug. 2(X)6. Boundaries for nine existing elementary el-ementary schools will be affected by the new schools, according to Jerrilynn Mortensen, and boundary bound-ary proposals will be sent home with school children. Meetings are scheduled for the following dates and places, all of them running from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Highland Elementary, Elementa-ry, 10865 N. 6000 West, Highland. Dec. 14 at Eaglecrest Elementary, Elemen-tary, 2760 N. 300 West, Lehi. Dec. 15 at Snow Springs Elementary, El-ementary, 50 S. 1700 West, Lehi Morteasen said the district is hoping for a lot of patron participation. partici-pation. "We need their input," she said. The three new schools are located in northeast Highland, northeast Lehi and the Harvest Hills area of Saratoga Springs. Existing elementary schools to be affected by the new boundaries include Westfield in Alpine, Highland High-land and Freedom in Highland, Legacy in American Fork, Snow Springs, Meadow and Eaglecrest in Lehi, Saratoga Shores in Saratoga Sara-toga Springs and Pony Express in Eagle Mountain. ""y"1 "HE1; ""' 1 NORTH I ", . 1 C OUN TY STAFf MfAl I t '3 A ' Gregory Pearson The Tim-panogos Tim-panogos Festival Orchestra Or-chestra and Chorus will present its ninth annual Messiah Sing-in on Friday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Alpine Tabernacle, located at 100 East and State Street in American Fork. Admission is free, but limited to those over 8 years of age. Guest soloists are Mary Billet Bil-let er-Young, soprano; Laura Lewis, mezzo-soprano; George Dyer, tenor; and Gregory Pearson, Pear-son, bass. A 100-voice chorus and 40-piece orchestra will complete the performance of the oratorio. Lois Stout is the conductor. The audience will be invited to sing along with the chorus and orchestra during the nine chorus numbers. Audience members are asked to bring along a personal copy of Messiah Messi-ah so they can experience singing sing-ing in the historic Alpine Tabernacle Tab-ernacle along with hundreds of other musicians in celebration of the Christmas season. Music will not be available for purchase pur-chase at the door. The conductor and founder of this event, Lois Stout, retired to this area from Maryland to be near her family, and felt that the tabernacle would be a good venue for the production. "This extraordinary, ex-traordinary, historic building is a perfect setting for performances perfor-mances of great, sacred works of music. It is our hope to produce pro-duce an inspiring Christmas exerience for this wonderful community." While living in Maryland, Stout, a professional violinist, worked as a conductor and music educator. She conducted "Messiah" for many years in the Washington, D.C., area. In 1988, she founded the Baltimore-based F.A.M.E. Orchestra Orches-tra and was a co-founder of the Baltimore String Music Camp, which was begun in 1974. Stout also founded, and is a conductor of, the Timpanogos String Camp for young musicians musi-cians and the Timpanogos Chamber Orchestra. The Timpanogos Festival Chorus is prepared by Lisa Brodie, professional singer and violinist from Alpine. She has performed "Messiah" in Washington, D.C., at the Kennedy Center, and holds performance degrees in voice and violin.
