The public is invited to receive re-ceive free health screenings, including screening for blood pressure, total cholesterol count, balance, skin cancer, heart rate, blood sugar, oxygen oxy-gen saturation and depression. "I felt really good about American Fork." he said. "We had very high patient satisfaction. satisfac-tion. People complimented us on the care we were giving there. We recruited a lot of physicians and had good rapport rap-port with the medical staff in the community." When the opportunity to purchase the home came up. they decided to move back to the area. "We enjoy American fork and the north end of Utah County." Kami said. Another advantage is that it is closer to Salt Lake International Airport and their children live in Michigan. Virginia and Florida. The Smedleys have already begun to also think of their clients cli-ents as part of their family. "We love them." Kami Smedley said. Both said they were pleased to provide a homey atmosphere atmo-sphere for their residents. T hey are able to meet many of their individual needs. "If they want something special spe-cial to eat. we try to accommodate accommo-date that." Kami Smedley said. "It is small enough they can know each other and have a good social life." Craig Smedley Smed-ley said. For those who are interested, inter-ested, they have an individual come in four times a week to offer games, crafts, music and exercise for the residents. The craft experience has been a recent addition One favorite project was having the residents paint pumpkins, which they seemed to enjoy. "For the next week that is what they talked about." Craig Smedley said.
