Changes in regulations regula-tions are as follows: Only artificial Hies and lures may he used and hait fishing is not permitted. In addition, there the trout limit has been adjusted adjust-ed to two fish. These changes are in affect from the first l-HO bridge upstream up-stream from Keho Reservoir inear KxitUili upstream to the l-HO bridge near Wanship (near Kxit Iftfi). Hait fishing is allowed on the Weber River from Rockport Reservoir downstream down-stream to the 1-80 bridge near Wanship (near Kxit l.r(i). Mail fishing is also allowed from the first 1-80 bridge near Coalville I near Kxit KM) downstream to Kcho Reservoir. The trout limit for these areas is 4 fish. Doug Garfield, Con serva t ion ( hit reach Manager for the DWR's Northern Region commented, comment-ed, "Conservation officers with the Division of Wildlife Resources have reported that many anglers they are contacting are not aware of the change in regulations on the Weber River between Wanship and Echo Reservoir. Conservation officers have been issuing warnings on violations, but anglers must take the responsibility to read the regulations with them." Please ask permission before you fish private lands and be courteous of land owner's property. The DWR has secured fishing access easements along much of the Weber River and anglers who use these properties have a responsibility responsi-bility to the landowner. Use the fence styles to cross fences, close gates, do not litter, and if you see litter lit-ter from other careless anglers, pick it up. Girls team! scores read American Fork 94, Timpview 49, and Springville 12. Team scores in the boys' competition were Timpview 98, American Fork 54, and Springville 16. Lauren Browning won the girls' 100-nieter hurdles and took second in the 200-meter 200-meter dash. Katie Gasser won both the 100- and 200-meter 200-meter dashes. Ali Crossley won the 300-meter 300-meter hurdles. Brittany Harrison took second in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. hur-dles. Jill Greenwood won the 1,600- and 800-meter runs, hut took second in the 3,200-meter race. American Fork won the 400-meter, 1,600-meter, and medley relays. Jobi Melton won the discus. In the javelin, Nicole Redford took first and Jena Day second. Amanda Willard won the 400-meter dash. Derek Walker won both the boys' 100- and 200-meter 200-meter dashes. American Fork won the 400-meter relay, but took second sec-ond in the medley and 1,600-meter relays. Nine members of the team also competed April 13 at the Davis Invitational at Davis High School. In the Open Division, Ali Crossley placed 11th in the 300 meter hurdles hur-dles in a time of 50.42 seconds. sec-onds. Whitney Merrill placed 3rd in the high jump at a height of 5'2". James Funk placed 19th in the 100 meter dash in 11.89 seconds and 16th in the 200 meter dash in 24.02 seconds. Jeremy Dangerfield medaled with 6th place in the high jump at 5' 10". Derek Walker earned three medals; he was 3rd in the 100 meter dash with a time of 1 1.47, 3rd in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.28 and 6th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.34. Walker joined J.D. Beck, Jordan Hansen, and Derrek Richards as champions in the Invited division 4 x 100 meter relay. The team ran a state-leading :43.38 to capture cap-ture the gold. Richards also garnered first place medals in the Invited 100 meter and 200 meter sprints in : 11.03 and :22.29, respectively, and Dale Golding earned a 7th place finish in the Invited division 1600 meter run in 4:31.26. American Fork will compete com-pete at the BYU Invita-tion-al this Saturday.
