The waters perform intricate dance ..;-- - I movements in a show composed of water, electric power, multi-colored lighting and synchronized music. All shows area free to the public. incin g waters' LiOl I The new and larger "Dancing Waters", The Universally acclaimed ac-claimed dancing fountain display dis-play has come to the new University Uni-versity Mall in Orem, October 27 - November 1. This particular unit is twice the size of the waters that appeared last year at the Mall. This is the water spectacle that has thrilled spectators spec-tators throughout the world and at amusement parks, arenas, baseball clubs, exhibitions, and other showcases. Memorable entertainment for all age groups, "Dancing Waters" has never failed to win uninhibited applause from even the most discriminating critics. Harold Steinman, known for his successes with "Ice Vanities," Vani-ties," "Skating Vanities," "Hep-podrome" "Hep-podrome" and other productions, produc-tions, discovered "Dancing Waters" at a West German Industrial In-dustrial Exhibition in 1952. He recognized its uniqueness and arranged with its inventor to introduce it to the United States. The debut was in New York's famed Radio City Music Hall, where it won instant acclaim ac-claim and has appeared no less than five times. It has since been showing throughout the Western Hemisphere and around ar-ound the world. With glorious multicolored lighting, consisting of automatic lamps, accompanied by thrilling and exciting music, the "Dancing "Danc-ing Waters" presents a variety of limitless formations, effects, and combinations from a "Fireworks "Fir-eworks Display" to classical Ballet Scenes, with the waters actually Dancing Waltzes, Tangos, Tan-gos, and Swirling and Swishing in Modern Intricate Dance Movements. As the sparkling waters rise and fall under the colorful lights to the accompaniment of music, the waters form amazing combinations com-binations and effects, which are breathtaking in their beauty. A series of pumps and motors, activated from an electrically operated console, played like an organ, forcing thousands of gal lons of circulating water through hundreds of jets of various var-ious size openings; to a controlled cont-rolled height of 30 to 40 feet, from portable sections of pipe and cable, all ingeniously put together that make up the "Dancing Waters." There is a wire control for each jet, the wires are connected connect-ed to a portable switchboard which looks like an organ-console. organ-console. The operator stands at the board, pushes the buttons and throws the switches, to make water perform as it is forced through the jets by the motors with a combined 10 to 30 horsepower, depending on size of unit. Set into a portable rubber rub-ber through-tank, tank height is six inches, water height in tank is three inches, the pumps, and pipes are shapes. At intervals along the top of each pipe are holes capped by jets and nozzles. noz-zles. The direction and size of the opening of each nozzle can be changed at will.
