Show Senior Citizens Take Extensive Sightseeing Trip The thirty-five senior Citizens who took the Uintah County, Flaming Gorge to Rock Springs trip reported a wonderful and enjoyable sightseeing trip. Mayor May-or Kay of Vernal met them all personally at Hotel Vernal and extended all the hospitality of the City to them. A delightful program was also given there. The group enjoyed the sightseeing sight-seeing tour particularly to the Dinosaur Monument and the Museum Mus-eum and other points of interest. This tour was directed by Bryant H. Stringham, one of the leading citizens of that area. All spoke praisingly also of the delicious food served while in Vernal. The trip took them ontoFlam--ing Gorge through very Colorful Color-ful foilage and mountain scenery. This area is particularly beautiful beau-tiful in the fall. The trip over the dam and along the lake was also filled with thrills. The Jim Bridger ar..a and on to Rock Springs brought back to many some of the hardships endured en-dured by our pioneer forefathers. The trip home brought many through very interesting areas that they had not seen before. The Senior Citizens Committee wishes to express gratitude and appreciation to Dallas Strong for inscribing ownership individually on each of the new chairs to the organization. This took considerable consid-erable time and a fine job was done. The organization wishes to impress im-press the importance of attendance attend-ance at the travelogue pictures shown the first and third Thursdays Thurs-days of each month. Considerable time and effort is made to bring good films for showing. We need to have at least half of our membership there each time. This would be over a hundred people attending each time.
