Show Chamber By Douglas Doxey Executive Secretary presidents of the Chambers of Commerce throughout Utah County have become the acting Directors of the Utah Valley Industrial Development Association. Associa-tion. Last Tuesday, the Chamber of Commerce Presidents' Council, Coun-cil, who are the acting directors direc-tors ofUVIDA, approved a budget ot $30,000 to operate the newly organized UVIDA. In raising the money it was decided to ask the Utah County Commission for $20,000 of the total, with the balance to come for the cities and other agencies agen-cies participating. During the meeting the new directors discussed the By-laws of UVIDA. In the By-laws it was discussed that new directors be appointed January 1, 1966. One from each city appointed by the mayors and chamber of commerce com-merce executive boards. This would comprise eight board members. The UtahCounty Commission Com-mission will appoint two members mem-bers and one member of whom should be chairman of the County Planning Commission.
