Harding In a ceremony performed September 6, at the Mantl LDS Temple. . (The biide is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Storrs of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Harding, Lehi, arp par ents of the brldt'groom. , 1 ' Thursday evening a dinner was given In their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard .Woffinden, sister . and . brother In-law of the groom, i , Friday ' evening the couple was honored at a reception at the American Fork Second-Sev enth Ward Church, i : The bride and groom stood in front of a back drop decprated with sprays of salmon glads, white carnations, Ivy and shrimp colored, ribbon. The bride-elect was lovely in a full length gown of Peau de sol, with a lace covered bodice, scalloped neckline outlined with sequins and seed pearls. The skirt was caught up in the front with bows to reveal a beautiful beau-tiful lace underskirt. Lace appliques appli-ques on the skirt enhanced the gown as did the lace, chappie train. She. carried a bridal bou quet of stephanotls surrounding surround-ing a large white orchid. Her veil of sheerest Illusion was caught to a crown of seed pearls and crystals. Attending the bride were Mrs. Jimmle D. Cates, a sister of the bride; Mrs. Richard Woffinden, a sister of the groom; Mrs. Ar thur Harding, and Miss Marsha Hunter. Each wore a shrimp colored sheath with a net ov-ersklrt ov-ersklrt and carried bouquets of spider mums. Flower girls were Connie Cates and Jolene Woffinden. The bride's mother chose a gown of blue lace while mother of the groom . was attired in a beige wool sheath. " They ivore matching corsages of cymbidlum orchids. '- 1 . 'f:.V; .?:.-:.' Arthur H. Harding performed the duties of best man. Receiving guests' at the door were Mr. and Mrs. J S. Storrs. Presiding over the guest book was Louise Scott. A seven individual layer cake was displayed on a revolving spiral. It was decorated with horns of plenty, talisman roses and topped with wedding bells. It was centered on an oval shap- 'ft ) r it' A - - .4 Mr. and Mrs. Neil E. Hardinr ed glass table 'with a metallic cloth with indirect lighting ab ove and beneath. Gold horns of plenty with grapes and metallic braid were arranged on each side of the cake. The gifts and trousseau were displayed on stage which was decorated with salmon colored glads, .white spider mums and white carnations in large white urns.-,,- s if, , Mrs. David Wagstaff was in charge of the gift room. She was helped by Suzanne Garrett and Barbara Phillips. Bruce Storrs," Vicki Woffinden and Wesley Woffinden received the glfts..;,V The serving area was separated separ-ated with ribbon and ferns in Stands. The buffet table was decorated with fall colors and serving tables were centered with horns of plenty, wheat and grapes. V .
