I was left with fivei children to support. I was no longer a young mother. I had no training, train-ing, no income. I did all kinds of Jobs poorly paid drudgery. I resolved with training i could better my position. If I was going to accomplish any thing In life, I had to set a goal and set it high. So I studied at home. I tried to get Into an engineering engin-eering school but was refused admission because I am a woman. wo-man. Then I decided to "bite off more than I could chew," and chew it. I was going to business school! Never trying Is worse than failure. A larger school could not give me the personal help I receive here. Each teacher, in giving of himself, becomes a personal friend, thus forming everlast ing friendships. Many students return to visit the 'teachers and express their love and appreci-tion. appreci-tion. Plus "reading, writing, and arithmetic," we? are taught how to develop our personalities, voice, and character; to be honr est and pleasant in our work, as well as to accept the respon sibility of doing work well; to be honest; to give eight hours' work for eight hours' pay; to respect one's boss as a businessman; busi-nessman; to be true to oneself; to give to the world the best one has, anticipating the best in return. I am attending a private business bus-iness college so that my life may be well balanced socially, economically, and spiritually. j i j j lb. CAIII1ED UMl ryP'SFQ JinYll.
