Local Items "Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Miller and Oarth, returned home Saturday evening after visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Elllss, Corpus Christl, Texas, and other points of Interest. Mrs. Elllss will be remembered as the former form-er Carma Miller. During their visit the Millers made the acquaintance of the new grandson, Floyd Sam, who was born September 18 and weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces. Mr. Miller, who was an LDS missionary in the West Texas District ten years ago, enjoyed renewing old acquaintances and seeing how the church has grown In that area during the past ten years. Church Notices Sixth Ward Relief Society Beryl Hollndrake will present the literary lesson at the next meeting of the Sixth Ward Relief Re-lief Society, Tuesday, October 21 Meeting time is 10 a.m. Immunization Clinic To Begin Friday A community immunization clinic will be held Friday, October Oc-tober 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Red Cross Room. It will be sponsored sponsor-ed by the local Health Council, American Fork City and Utah County Health Department and the local doctors. This will begin a series, of clinics which will be held the third Friday of each month until un-til June. These are the only clinics that will be held before January since there will not be school clinics until after January Janu-ary 1. Immunizations will be given for polio, first, second, third or booster shots, diphtheria, whooping whoop-ing cough, tetanus, small pox and typhoid boosters. Since the Civil Defense is requesting re-questing that all citizens have typhoid shots, questionnaires will be sent home with school students stu-dents next week to determine local demand for this series of three weekly clinics. If you do not receive a questionnaire you may get one at the City Hall. It will be an "apron and overall" over-all" dance at 9:00 p.m., Immediately Immed-iately following the Priesthood session. Earl peck will be In charge of the evening. Terhune of Chico, Calif. Mrs. 4rerhune is the former Jean Hoelscher. The husky boy tipped the scales at 8 pounds 1 ounce and will be named Noel Mitchell. Big brother David Randall, is 28 months old.
