Mullln- sr's 4-H group of first year cook ing. They discussed breakfast values and menues and copied! recipes. Those present were Lyn-I ette Crotts, Carol Ann Pagan,! Ann Francom. Martha Louise Huntszlnger, Mary Jo Mulllner, Kay Simpson, and Louise Scott. Happy Home Improvers The Happy Home Improvers, a I new 4-H club in Highland, met at the home of Mrs. Kenneth White Wednesday, April 28. Miss Bonnie 8kousen was ' elected president of the group, whose project will- be Home- Improve ment. Other officers elected were Maxine Greenland, vice president; Janet Strasburg, secretary-treasurer; Nancy Strasburg, Stras-burg, pianist arid chorister, and Irene Oreenland, reporter. The club members will meet each Wednesday at 3:30. Sew-N-Sew Mrs. Rula Rlgley was hostess to the 8ew-N-Sew 4-H Club last week. The girls worked on dress es and their patch, according to I Jeanne Peters,' club reporter. Jolly Cooks The Jolly Cooks began their 4-H Club meeting by singing America, which was lead by 8lK- vla Beer. Carol Lee Rlchans and Johna Vee Pulley gave a demon stration of the preparation of white sauce which was then used in making cream soup by two competitive groups. Both groups received excellent ratings. Cost Cookers The' Cozy Cookers 4-H Club met at the home of their leader Mrs. Olive Bowen Wednesday after noon. The girls made apple sauce and cinnamon toast then enjoyed the delicious results. Members of the group attending were Susan Bowen, .
