I Lincoln Hosts Girls ' Softball Day , Lincoln High .School was host to Junior and senior high school sbltball teams from all the schools in the Alpine District at Girls Softball Day Monday, May 4. Mrs. McTague reports that the Junior high team won first place In the district. The senior high team won third place. Girls playing for. the junior team were: LuJean Robinson, Carol Scholes. A livestock judging team, consisting of Mack Chip-man, Chip-man, Calvin Vance and Foy Swain and a Dairy Judging team, consisting of Jesse Wagstaf f . Al-; lan Chrlstensen and Craig Mor-tensen Mor-tensen were entered by the local unit during "Agathon Days." According to Foy Swain, FFA, reporter, the livestock team plac-t ed 6th in the state with 50 teams' entered. Spanish Fork placed first In the team .Judging, with North Summit and Richfield placing second and third. Foy placed second in the state on Individual points, an honor which his. older brother won Just last year. Results of the dairy Judging were not available. Each college of the A. C. showed show-ed displays which were very Interesting In-teresting to everyone attending.
