Max Pierce shelled the hoop for 16 points as the sophomore squad also turned a victory against their Orantsville foes to the tune of 28-23. The Cavemen attack gathered momentum as the game progressed progress-ed and with a 14-8 advantage at half-time they bombarded the basket for 19 points in the third quarter to put. the game on ice. Griffin, Smith and Stelner led the scoring assult while limiting the Orantsville team to six field goals. Coach Don Overly will send his squad against Nephl on Wednesday, Wednes-day, Dec. 22 and Orantsville on Thursday, Dec. 30, in a pair of practice tilts on the home court.
