Four thousand gifts are needed need-ed In Utah and presents must be delivered to the Auxiliary by Dec. 10, to insure delivery to the hospitals in time for Christmas. Mrs. Sidney M. Beck, chairman of the drive said. Since many of the men are on strict diet, the military hospitals have requested that no food or candy be sent. Recommended presents include books and maps, stationery and games, tailetries, Clothes and smokers supplies. f or tne Hospitalized girls one might choose needlework, yarn, thread and darning cotton, toiletries, toi-letries, clothes pins, hair nets, skirt hangers, elastic by the yard. Gifts should not exceed $2 or $3 in value. Each package should be marked whether for man or woman and should have a tag on the outside listing contents so attendants may better know for whim it will be suitable.
