Later they enjoyed dinner and attended at-tended a theatre. Members of the Thimble Club will he entertained at the home of Mrs. Kenneth McDonald Friday evening. Miller of Salt Lake City. Dr. and Mrs. P. M. Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph K. Nicholes, of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Nicholes and children of Lehl Mrs. William R. Hansen was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised by a long distance telephone call Sunday from her son, Cecil Ray Hansen in Burbank, California. Cali-fornia. He called to wish her a very happy birthday. He is employed employ-ed at the Lockheed Aircraft plant at Burbank and is well, doing fine and enjoying his work. Captain and Mrs. R. W. Gilchrist and their two children of California have been here visiting with Mrs. Gilchrist's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Julian, and with relatives in Lehi. Captain Gilchrist, who has been stationed at Camp San Luis Obispo for sometime past, left Sunday Sun-day for Fort Sill. Oklahoma, where he will attend a three months training train-ing school. Mrs. Gilchrist and children chil-dren will remain in Lehi until his return. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Orln Talbot of Layton were visiting in American Fork with friends and relatives. Mr and Mrs. Chris Christensen left Tuesday for Oakland, California, Califor-nia, following a month's visit here with Mrs. Martin Monson and With' relatives in Salt Lake City. The! young couple were married in Reno, Nevada, en route here and then spent their honeymoon here. Mrs. J. F. Walton entertained Saturday evening for Mrs. Emma G. Anderson of Salt Lake City and her son, Mallin, who is returning to Los Angeles, California, following a visit with his mother. Friday afternoon Mrs. Wilson Cunningham entertained for all the Primary Bluebird leaders of the stake at her home. The year round program was discussed, the highlights high-lights of teaching brought out and ' later the teachers worked on their : Bluebird books. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Iverson, Mrs. Len Jackson, of this city and Steve Adams of Lehi arrived home early in the week from San Diego, California, Cali-fornia, where they visited with Boyd Jackson, who is confined in the Naval hospital there. Mr. Jackson, Jack-son, who is a former resident of this city, is not improving as satisfactorily satis-factorily as his relatives and friends would hope and is still confined In the hospital there. -o .
