Four tables of bridge were played the club prise being1 won by Mrs. Walter Stephens of Salt Lake and the guest prise by Mrs. James Chad wick. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shaw of Og-den, Og-den, are visiting this week with Mrs. Shaw's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Halllday. Mrs. George F. Ealllday and her son, George F. Halllday Jr., of Olendale, California, are also house guests at the Halllday home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond H. Clayton Clay-ton of Mldvale, spent Tuesday evening eve-ning in American Fork visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton have Just returned from a trip to the east. While in Chicago they visited with Mr. and Mrs.,- Delbert Greenwood. They report that Delbert Del-bert and his wife are well and that Mr. Greenwood is teaching part time at the University of Chicago and working for the Cudahay Packing Pack-ing Company. Don Erekson, brother of Mrs. Eldon Chipman and Miss Margaret Fisher of Salt Lake, are house guests this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Chipman. James wrote his masters thesis and received his degree two years ago from the University of Utah. In the past two years he has received two fellowships at the Michigan University. A, reports that the canning center for the preserving of foods for the school lunches has been put into operation. The members mem-bers of the committee In charge of the school lunches request that any one who has any string beans which they desire to contribute to the lunches bring them to the canning center on Friday , and Saturday of this week.
