Show f Jeremy McKinney earns Eagle Scout Award Jeremy Glen McKinney was awarded his Eagle Scout badge Sunday, Nov. 11, at a Court of Honor held by Troop 842. Jeremy is a ninth grader at American Fork Junior High School and the son of John and Jan McKinney McK-inney of American Fork. Jeremy has enjoyed his scouting experience. As a Cub he earned his Faith in God award, the Conservation Conserva-tion Patch, the Fifteener Award and the Arrow of Light. As a Scout he has earned the On My Honor award and the Filly Miler. He has served as a den chief, ns a patrol leader and assistant senior sen-ior patrol leader. He attended Timberline and served as a patrol leader there. Jeremy choose to work on the snack shack at the city ball complex com-plex for his Eagle project. With the aid of volunteers, he lined up paint and equipment and they painted the interior of the restrooms and kitchen to bring them up to state standards for cleanliness. Jeremy McKinney Burr completes military training Army National Guard Pvt. 1st Class Glen W. Burr has completed an administrative specialist course at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Students were trained in the preparation of military records and forms. Instruction was also given in fundamentals of the Army filing system, typing and operation of office machines. Burr is the son of Ronald G. and Patricia Burr of Beaver. His wife, Diane, is the daughter of Dennis and Dorris Daniels of American Fork. The private is a 1986 graduate of Beaver High School. .
