Joycelyn Ault Wimmer passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 11, after a valiant battle with pancreatic pancreat-ic cancer. Her 75 years of life were filled with family, service, music, mu-sic, travel and devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was the first born of Pharis Truman Ault and June Lu-EUa Lu-EUa Berry of Cedar Fort and had a joyous childhood riding horses, tending sheep and studying the piano. pi-ano. She was very close to all her cousins and they resembled the gang "Little Rascals". She was an excellent student and graduated third in her class from Lehi High School in 1950. She married Warren War-ren Smith Wimmer, a decorated war veteran from American Fdrk, on March 8, 1956. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together with Warren Jr. and Charlene, children from Warren's previous marriage, they made their home in Magna where two boys were born on the same day one year Ipart. Steven Pharis and Michael Scott were later joined by a baby sister, Janalyn after the family moved to Layton. In 1978 the family returned to their roots and built their dream home in American Fork. Joycelyn was an accomplished pianist and accompanied many groups during high school and throughout her life. She was known for her powerful rendition of the Lehi school song. She was a talented seamstress and loved to crochet, knit and do needlepoint. She won awards for her bottled fruit at the state fair as well as fruits and vegetables from her garden. She served in the Relief Society and Young Women's organizations and was especially proud of her 21 years of service in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos temples. She was a PTA president and worked at Tooele Army Depot, De-pot, North Layton Jr. High, Hill AFB, and the Social Security Office, Of-fice, using her secretarial skills. She was an excellent marksman, loved to water-ski and snowmobile snowmo-bile and was always at home on a horse. She was fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren and was always willing to help anyone in need. Joycelyn is survived by a brother-in-law Leland (Evelyn) Wimmer, American Fork; Sister-in-law Nona (Eugene) Wimmer, American Fork; daughter, Charlene Char-lene (Virgil) Flannery; Oregon; - daughter-in-law Karen (Roy) Stock, Montana; Steven (Colette) Wimmer, Salt Lake City; Michael S. Wimmer, Orem; Janalyn (Kelly) Memmott, Pleasant Grove; along with 10 grand-children and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded pre-ceded in death by her mother and father, an infant brother and sister, sis-ter, beloved husband, Warren, eldest el-dest son Warren Jr., grand-daughters, Kariann and Susannah, and brother-in-law Eugene Wimmer. Funeral services will be held Thrus. Nov. 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the American Fork 26th ward chapel, 975 N. 60 E. Friends and family may call at the Wing Mor-turary, Mor-turary, 118 E. Main, Lehi on Wed. evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., and at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the American Fork City Cemetary. We would like to thank the doctors, doc-tors, nurses, Hearts for Hospice, the 26th ward, friends, family and all those who gave such self -less service throughout her illness. We love you, mom! Polly was born February Febru-ary 27, 1923 in Bonham Texas. Tex-as. In 1942, she joined the LDS church. In 1943, she married her eternal sweetheart, Andrew "Andy" Block, four days before . he shipped overseas for WWII. They were sealed in the Manti Temple in 1948. Andy and Polly raised their family in American Fork. Polly was a midwife, herbalist, herbal-ist, teacher, and an accomplished author. She loved to read, paint J, 1 , 'i'i Ht mfe Vg and was an avid genealogist. She received a bachelors degree in personology. She is survived by her four children: chil-dren: Vivian (Garth) Jepperson, Spring City; Bruce Block, Salt Lake City; Jeanette Pedigo, Pleasant Grove; Aaron Block, Pleasant Grove; 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 12, 2002. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov 12, 2007 at 11 am in the Hillcrest 3rd Ward, 1120 N 150 W, American Fork, Utah.
