Anderson, An-derson, was relieved of her pain and suffering Saturday afternoon, af-ternoon, June 9, 2007, in Provo, as she slipped peacefully peace-fully through the veil into the loving arms of her parents, grandparents, brother and 2 sisters. She was born March 25, 1937 in Provo, UT to J. Earl and Edna Mildenhall Johnson, the youngest young-est of 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Because of the 9 years separating her and the next sister, her mother moth-er always called her "my baby." She attended Provo City schools and graduated from Provo High. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in dietetics and served a one-year internship at Cook County Hospital Hospi-tal in Chicago. She then returned and worked as a dietitian in the medical and educational fields, at several hospitals along the wasatch front, BYU food services and Timpanogos Elementary. Her greatest professional experience was as dietitian at Utah State Developmental Center. She loved the wonderful people there, especially espe-cially those who are the residents. After 11 years there, she retired in 1999, having served the needs of others for over 40 years. She married John S. Anderson in the Manti Temple. He died February 7, 1989. She married Richard R. Anderson Ander-son on December 7, 1991, for time, in the Provo Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various ward and stake callings. She was a talented crochet er and her hands produced many afghans, stocking caps for humanitarian projects, and delicate gifts for her many friends. The tiny shoes, cups, and saucers she made are treasured by the receivers. Her love of the gospel of Jesus Christ, her Savior, her Heavenly Father and the Temple were expressed openly by her cheerful cheer-ful and loving association with others. The absolute joy of her life was serving for 10 12 years in the Temple, 9 years in the Timpanogos Temple. Her sweet spirit touched the lives of countless count-less brothers and sisters through her service there. "Some people make the world a special place just by being here." Joyce was such a person. She and Richard loved to travel In their nearly 16 years together, they visited 39 states, 10 countries, 2 provinces and attended at-tended 28 Temples, sometimes 2 Temples the same day.
