Since they first bought the Miracle Bowl, the W(xxlard family began making renovations renova-tions each year during the summer, when business was slower. Some of their biggest improvements included synthetic syn-thetic lanes, automatic scoring, building renovations and glow in the dark bowling. "We were the first bowling alley in the area to have automatic auto-matic scoring," Woodard said. "We try to stick out our necks to always keep up on the newest new-est updates." The history of the Miracle Bowl, Woodard said, adds to they portray today. "We are different than other bowling alleys out there," Woodard said. His father was a professional pro-fessional bowler and a world record holder in bowling. "We try to give a real bowling bowl-ing area, not one that is just a teen hang out," he said. The owners of Miracle Bowl say that this atmosphere is what attracts the seven winter win-ter leagues and one summer league. Besides their synthetic lanes, the Miracle Bowl now offers a billiards area, video games and a full snack bar featuring Perky 's Pizza.
