Show Thursday, June 29. 2006 NORTH COUNTY NEWS P A PERS Page 13 Obituaries Lynn Scott Searle The patriarch of our family, Lynn Scott Searle, returned peacefully peace-fully to ras Heavenly Father June 21, 2006 in Provo, Uah. He was born on Jury IS, 1914 in Provo, Utah the son of FJlenLaPrete Scott and Lester Wilson Searle. Lyrm graduated from Spanish Fork High School m 1932. served in the Southern Stales Mission. Florida District, for the LDS Church in 1933. When he returned from hts mission, he joined the Utah Na-tirjnal Na-tirjnal Guard. He attended B.Y.U. graduating win a bachelor degree in 1940 and a master's degree in 1963. He then worked on his doctorate doc-torate in Minnesota. A beautiful young lady, June Gourley, caught his eye. They were married for time and all eternity eter-nity in the Salt Lake LD S Temple, on June 17, 1940. They had four chiidren, Robert. Ramon, Judith, and Karen. In the early 1940 s, Lyrm was a teacher and principal at Cedar Fort and Alpine Elementary Schools in the Alpine School District. Dis-trict. In 1946, he became a seminary semi-nary teacher and taught seminary in Panguitch. Neprri, American Fork. Provo. and Salt Lake at Jordan and West High Schools. In 1968. he was employed by the State of Utah at the Utah State Hospital and the American Fork Training School as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor until he retired in 1982. Lynn and June served an LD S mission in Roanoke, Virginia Vir-ginia which covered the area of Annabelle St. George, UT - AnnabeOe F. Pace, passed away on June 20, 2006 and was reunited with loved ones. She was born February IS, 1928 in Coshocton, Co-shocton, Gtiio to Beverly Arnold and Mishit Lor-erte Lor-erte Foster. Ann grew up in North Carolina and Pennsyl vania She met her sweetheart and lifelong companion, Joseph in St. Cloud, Florida while he was in the Navy, stationed at Green Cove Springs, Florida Thev were married cm June 20, 194S in Shelby, North Carolina and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Qty Temple on February 17, 1964. They made their home in Or em and Pleasant Grove. Utah and later moved to St. George for then-retirement. then-retirement. North Carolina and Maryland from 1985-197. 1985-197. Lynn was an active member of the L.DS. Church all of his life and Vved serving in various ward and stake callings. Most recently he kwed teaching the High Priest Group in his Pleasant View Ward. He had been serving in the Provo LD S. Temple as an ordinance worker for the last 1 1 years up until un-til his recent hospitalization. Lynn is survived by his wife. June, three children: Robert (Cheryl) Searte, West Bountif id, LT; Ramon ( Judy) Searle. Mesa, AZ, Karen ( David) Pond Pitt-stowa Pitt-stowa NJ; 2f) grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; I great great grandchild; brothers and sister, and many loving nephews, nieces and dear friends. He was preceded preced-ed in death by his daughter Judith (Lou) Bracken and his brothers Don and Ralph Searle. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. James Wood-mansee, Wood-mansee, the doctors, nurses, physical physi-cal therapists and numerous staff at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Vista Care Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be provided pro-vided by Otpin Family Mortuary and wiO be held Thursday. June 29, 2006 at 1 1:00 am at the Pleasant View Ward, 650 East Stadium Avenue Av-enue in Provo (located just north of the Missionary Training Center in Provo.) The viewing will be held Wednesday evening, June 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the Pleasant View Ward, 650 East Stadium Avenue, Provo, Utah and at the church on Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a m. prior pri-or to the services. Interment wiD be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 500 South Main Street, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at http-jww'w.otpinf amity -mortuary.com. F. Ann had many talents; she was a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed sewing quilts for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband hus-band Joseph; her children, Marvalee (Joe) Murdock, Washington, Wash-ington, LT, Debra (Wayne) Rogers, Rog-ers, Hurricane. LT and Ronald (Nickie) Pace, Pleasant Grove, LT; L5 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded pre-ceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28. 2006, 1 1 am., River Ridge LDS Ward Chapel 2434 E. Riverside Dr., St. George, UT. Visitations were held on Tuesday, June 27, 6-8 p.m..
