' ' ' tf i ' 4' ' ;! , m '"V , -J, ; - FINAL Kelson Stone, Kyle Stone and Kelson Craig Stone, Kyle Allen Stone and Kory Mario Stone all received the rank of Eagle Scout in a special Court of Honor on Dec. 18, 2005. They earned Scouting's highest rank as members of Venturer Crew 462 and Varsity Team 462 which are sponsored by the Timpanogos Park 4th Ward in Orem. The three young men are the sons of Mark and Bunny Stone. As part of their Eagle requirements, each boy organized orga-nized and carried out a large service project. Kelson Stone organized and carried out a project to paint emergency and no-parking zones at various locations in Orem. Kyle Stone also led a group of volunteers in a project to paint emergency and no-parking areas at other locations in Orem. Much red paint was had. Classes will include the following: follow-ing: Writing your personal history, his-tory, The World and I, water color painting, literature, Shakespeare, opera, "The Indian In-dian Wars (1806-1877), oral history, sensible nutrition for seniors, The European Jews and the Holocaust, The Joy of Music, Mu-sic, intermediate Windows and armchair travel. Classes will start Jan. 17 and will continue Mondays through Fridays. Elder Quest wiill send out a calendar with detailed information infor-mation to all members before classes begin. LEHI Membership drive The annual an-nual senior center membership drive has begun at the Lehi Senior Center, 123 N. Center St., Lehi. Membership is $2 per person per-son and the Lehi Free Press is half price, $15, to all members. I Closing - The center will be closed on Jan. 16 for Human Rights Day. Hearing clinic Brent Fox, the audiologist, will be hosting a hearing clinic on Jan. 26, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. No appointment appoint-ment is necessary. I Free clinic Kensington Home Medical is sponsoring a health clinic at no charge the first Wednesday of each month at the center. Staff will be giving giv-ing blood sugar checks, blood pressure readings, heart rate monitoring and oxygen readings read-ings for free. The next clinic will be Feb. 1 and more information informa-tion on the service is available at 471-8869. The senior center is open Monday through Friday except holidays, with Bingo at 11:30 a.rn. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Center hours are 9 a.m. to 3 floorplans, Realty Kory Stone allow emergency responders a clear area for parking. Kory Stone gathered and assembled materials for 200 hygiene kits which were donated to be used for Humanitarian Hu-manitarian Relief. He also had enough materials left to make several dozen smaller kits for homeless shelters. The three projects totaled over 300 man-hours of service ser-vice given to the community. The Boy Scouts of America has created the Eagle Mentor Pin as a way of honoring those whose efforts have assisted a Scout in reaching his Eagle rank. As part of the Eagle Court of Honor, Kelson, Kyle and Kory chose to award Eagle Mentor Pins to Todd Nielson, Nathan Clasby and Richard Bowns who served as their leaders.
