Mike Thompson receives legislative service awards Unique medical service helping people with balance problems Page B2 Representative Mike Thompson (R-Orem) received two awards for his fight against child abuse in the Utah State Legislature. Rep. Thompson received the "Child Advocate Award" from the Utah County Child Abuse Council at their annual award banquet ban-quet held in Provo. He was given the award in recognition recogni-tion of his devoted and invaluable service rendered ren-dered to the children and families of Utah County. He was commended for his work toward protecting children from abuse and was the only legislator to receive this award. Rep. Thompson also received the "Hero on the Hill" award from the Governor's Council for People with Disabilities and the Legislative Coalition for People with Disabilities. Allowing up to ten percent (10) of a lot to consist of the area of a private drive or "flag stem" of a deep lot. Allowing an existing exist-ing metes and bounds lot to be subdivided sub-divided with up to two lots that have a lot width that is 15 less than that required by the zoning zon-ing ordinance.
