Shanalee is the daughter of E.J. and Debra Wimmer of Orem and Rick and Suzi Prestwich of Orem. Steve is the son of David and Lea Dell of Oregon and Don and Shellie Kirby of Russia. A reception will be held in their honor that same evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the Wimmer residence, 1029 West 1260 North, Orem. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Orem High School and Evan's Beauty College. She is currently employed at Home Depot in Lindon. PARLEY AND WILMA BUTLER Parley, and Wilma Butler celebrate Fiftieth Anniversary The children of Parley and Wilma Butler are hosting an open house for their parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at the Orem Senior Friendship Center from 6-8 p.m. All family and friends are welcome. Parley and Wilma both grew up in Weber County, Utah. They met on a blind date, and on September Sep-tember 11, 1950 were married in the salt Lake LDS Temple. In the course of their 50 years together, they have lived in Utah, Missouri, Mis-souri, Ohio, Tennessee and California. Cali-fornia. Wilma's hobbies include quilting, quilt-ing, ceramics, gardening, reading read-ing and her pets. She loves visiting vis-iting with her friends. Parley enjoys working on his computer, reading and researching, writing writ-ing family histories, and Native American history. They are the parents of 5 children: chil-dren: Susan & Bruce Allen, Curtis & Diane Butler, Paul & Stephanie Butler, Julie & Mark Karr, and Mary & Matt Tippetts.
