The nine-hole tournament will include a morning and afternoon flight, with a delicious lunch served for all participants in be- tween. May, 2000 15 tPN m July 12 Chamber Spotlight- RON CRAFT Ron Craft is the Membership Member-ship Director for the Provo Orem Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, where he has worked more than three years. Ron meets personally person-ally with many business leaders in Utah County, sharing ideas, tools and explaining ex-plaining opportunities the chamber provides for businesses busi-nesses to grow. Ron and his family are ' Ron Craft originally from the Houston, Texas area. Ron spent three years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, serving in the Army Security Agency in Europe. After an honorable dis-. dis-. charge, Ron worked as a photographer until he received his private pri-vate investigator license. Shortly after marrying his wife Margaret, Ron worked as a structural draftsman for nearly 10 years. Upon moving to Utah, Ron received his insurance license, where he sold health insurance insur-ance for Globe Life Insurance and wa3 named "Rookie of the Year" for the company. Throughout his career he has won several sev-eral sales awards and achie ved various sales records. Ron is currently cur-rently developing an Internet e-commerce business with several other partners. In addition, Ron has also owned a water conditioning company, com-pany, been a rodeo clown, horse trainer and a member of search and rescue teams. Involved in a variety of endeavors, Ron rode a 10-speed bike across the state of Texas, from El Paso to Houston! Hous-ton! He is currently writing his first fiction novel, and enjoys the martial arts, scuba diving, rock climbing, spelunking and oil painting. Active in the LDS Church, Rou greatly enjoys working in the Boy Scout of America, where he has been involved for over 25 years. All three of his sons have been very involved in scouting as well, with the two oldest becoming Eagle Scouts. His daughter daugh-ter earned her Young Women's award and is now married.
