The concerts are scheduled for Friday and Satin-day, December 18 and 19, in the Tabernacle on Salt Lake City's Temple Square. This program is unique because be-cause it focuses specifically on providing gifts for the children in these families while providing self-sufficiency training for the parents. Applicants attend a workshop where they learn how to make low-cost Christmas gifts, how to make wise budgeting decisions de-cisions and how to incorporate low-cost traditions into their Christmas celebration. Volunteers Vol-unteers will need to wear work clothes and gloves. Assist at the local food bank. Utah Valley's Regional Food Bank needs two or three volunteers to help at the front desk assisting with receptionist duties. The Food Bank asks volunteers vol-unteers to donate several hours of their time each week for at least three months.
