The couple will be honored at a reception that same evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Joseph Jo-seph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. Kjersti attended schools in the San Diego area and is now attending at-tending Brigham Young Univer Marcy Harris to marry Dave Judson May 22nd Marcy Jann Harris and David Philip Judson have chosen May 22, 1998, to be married in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple. The First Presidency of the Church has announced that the public open house at the Monticello Utah Temple will be July 16-18, 1998 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Following the open house, the temple will be formally dedicated for its intended use on Sunday, July 26, at 9 a.m., following an 8 a.m. cornerstone ceremony. There will be two additional dedicatory dedi-catory services Sunday and another an-other four on Monday, July 27. The temple will begin operating on a scheduled basis July 28. Latter-day Saints temples are used exclusively by faithful members mem-bers of the Church for marriages, baptisms and other sacred ordinances ordi-nances focusing on the eternal potential of family relationships. The Monticello Utah Temple District includes nearly 13,000 , Latter-!day Saints in five stake: Monticello, Moab, Blanding, Utah and Durango, Colorado. Open house tickets will not be required, but in order to avoid long lines open house officials encourage those living outside of the temple district to plan on touring the temple from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Fri-day, July 16 and 17, and leave Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday, July 18, for local residents. The temple is the first of a number of small temples the Church plans to build in areas of the world where there are relatively rela-tively few Latter-day Saints. President Gordon B. Hinckley, world leader of the Church, said he wants to make the blessings of the temple more accessible to the members, many of whom now must travel considerable distances dis-tances to the nearest temple. She has six grandchildren grandchil-dren and 20 great-grandchildren. She has owned and operated her beauty shop since 1944, working at the side of her husband, hus-band, who was a barber. She retired re-tired in 1991 due to poor health. She is talented in working with her hands sewing, crocheting, etc., and has made many gifts for . her family and friends..
