Jaguar Journal ' by Noelle Pikus This week was great at OJH. There have been many school activities to participate in. "Soc-cer "Soc-cer Cinco", is one of them. Many of the students enjoy these programs. Other programs are the Builders Club, student court, year book, student council and many others. Hopefully, there is an activity for every student's interests. Ribbon Week is coming up the week of October 19. Many great activities have been planned. Monday there will be a kick-off assembly with Officer Wakamatsu. That same day, students will be asked to pledge against drugs and violence. Tuesday will be red or purple clothes day with treats for those who participate. Wednesday will be "Dead Day". Student Council will be going around to different classes to paint faces white, red, and purple. Those , students won't be able to talk the rest of the day. Each face painted represents one person that dies every twenty minutes from drugs in America. For the rest of the week's activities, look ':' for riext weeks paper. ' o Have a great week!! CENTRAL rjuf.: ovg ASSOCIATES'PC it just a pretty face. M aybe it's just a gimmick: put a pretty picture on the front and immediately you've got a better phone book. In part, we agree. The good looking cover does help, but it only makes it a slightly better phone book. What really makes a phone book stand out in a crowd is what's inside. And that's where we've really pulled out all of the stops. Our phone book contains all sorts of useful information in addition to the white and yellow pages, including sports schedules, restaurant menus, ZIP codes, a local events calendar, and maps-all maps-all in easy-to-use sections. So next time you're wondering which phone book to use or advertise in, turn to the one with the good-looking cover. It's much more than just a pretty face. -1 Complimentary $50 1 ) Makl Over wllhiU K, Yttr Vs - , t-X .
