Show .Orem-Geneva Times Wednesday, December 6, 1995 Page 10 Sponsor Utah State Hospital patients for the Holiday The Forgotten Patient Christmas Project needs individuals in-dividuals or groups to help provide pro-vide Christmas for patients at Utah State Hospital. Sponsors will be matched with patients who have little or no contact with family and -friends or whose families are struggling. Information about the age, size, hobbies, and interests inter-ests of the patients will be provided, as well as a "wish list" to help with the shopping. Sponsors are asked to wrap the gifts and take them to the hospital a week prior to Christmas. "If a sponsor is only able to purchase one or two small gifts, the gifts are combined com-bined with others and help to .complete Christmas for a patient," said Shawna Peterson, volunteer coordinator for the hospital. "Anyone can help because be-cause no donation is too small." The gifts will be given to each patient Christmas morning. There are several other opportunities op-portunities to serve at the hospital hospi-tal during the holidays. Small groups can plan parties, caroling, carol-ing, games, and treats for individual in-dividual hospital units.
