Eugene Bigler of Bountiful announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla, to Philip T. Jessee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Jessee of Orem. They will be married December 17, 1985 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A reception will be held in their honor that evening at the Colonial House in Salt Lake City. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Kayla is a graduate of Viewmont High School and Brigham Young University. She is teaching first grade at South Clearfield Elementary School. Philip graduated from Orem High School and has been attending BYU and Utah Technical College in Orem. He served an LDS mission in the Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission. The couple will make their home in Roy, Utah. MICHAEL L. HANKS AND PATTI THOMAS Patti Thomas To Marry Michael Hanks Friday Richardson-Arnoldsen Wedding Plans Announced Sandra G. Richardson, daughter of Ladell and Betty Richardson of Orem, will marry Marc M. Arnoldsen, Ar-noldsen, a son of Larry and Marilee Arnoldsen, also of Orem, on Saturday, December 14, 1985, in the Provo Temple Tem-ple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A reception will honor the couple that evening in the lst-24th Ward Chapel at 225 East 200 North, Orem. Friends of the family are welcome. Matron of honor will be Deana (Atkinson) Caulfield. Bridesmaids will be Kari Arnoldson, Kirsten Arnoldsen, Ar-noldsen, Tana Arnoldsen and Teri Richardson. ,. -. ; Best man will be Allen Arnoldsen, a twin brother to Marc'."- The bride-elect is a graduate of Orem High School and LDS Seminary. She is a senior at Brigham Young University majoring in Mathematics and is employd at BYU as a data entry clerk in the Records office. The prospective groom also is a graduate of Orem High and Seminary. He is attending BYU majoring ma-joring in Accounting and is employed at the Riverside Country Club. He served a mission to Korea Seou West. The couple will reside in Orem. Tech Chorus Presents Christmas Concert Tonight A Christmas Concert will be the first public appearance of the Utah Technical College at ProvoOrem Chorus. The concert will be this evening even-ing (December 11) at 8 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom on the Orem campus. vi Well known carols, songs of the .season and some less familiar pieces will be performed. The chorus is under the direction of Daniel Gawthrop, a Provo composer, and will be accompanied by pianist Annie Jones, a Humanities instructor at the College. "The audience will be invited to join in the singing during the evening," even-ing," according to Gawthrop. "This will enhance the spirit of the season and the evening for everyone." The chorus was organized in October Oc-tober of this year with the help of Gawthrop. Patti Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Earl Thomas of San Dimas, California, will marry Michael L. Hanks, son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard W. Hanks of Orem, Utah. They will be married on Friday, December 13, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A reception will be held in their honor Saturday evening at the Orem 5th and 60th Ward (900 S. 15 W.) from 7 : 30 -9 : 00 p.m. The event is open to all friends and relatives. An Open House will be held on December 28 at the bride's parents home in San Dimas. Special guests will be Helen O. Thomas (Patti's grandmother) and Amelia Christensen (Mike's grandmother). Bridal atendants are Jeanette Campbell, Traci Thomas, and Linda Hanks. The best man is David Hanks. The bride-elect graduated from San Dimas High School and attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University. She is currently employed at Mid-State Consultants in Springville. She has two children, Brad and Ross. Her fiance graduated from Orem High School, attended Ricks College, and is currently attending Brigham Young University. He will graduate in April with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He served a full time two year mission in MocronesiaGuam. The couple plan to live in Orem. SHEILA KAY SKAGGS AND CRAIG O. BAUM Skaggs-Baum Wedding Saturday In Temple Sheila Kay Skaggs of Quinlan, Texas, will become the bride of Craig O. Baum of Orem, inceremonies to be performed Saturday, December, 14, 1985 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Elder Dean L. Larson will officiate. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Skaggs of Quinlan, Texas, and Haws and Elaine Baum of Orem. A reception is planned to honor the newly weds that evening from 7 to 9 in the Orem 104th Ward Chapel, 800 South 400 East, Orem. Attending the bride will be Terri Skaggs, Kristie Dittburner and Kathleen Titensor. Groom's attendants will be Brent Anderson, Richard Baum, and Eric Baum. An open house will be held on December 21 in Quinlan, Texas. The bride-elect graduated from Ford High School in Quinlan. She is now a junior at Brigham Young University majoring in Business Finance. The prospective groom is a graduate of Orem High School and LDS Seminary. He lettered in wrestling. wrestl-ing. He is a senior at BYU majoring in Geology. He served a two-year mission mis-sion to the Sendai Japan Mission. The couple will honeymoon enroute to Texas and will make their first home in Springville. OHS Christmas Concert Wednesday, Dec. 18 The Orem High A Cappella choir will stage its annual Christmas concert con-cert on Wednesday, December 18. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. Both traditional and modern Christmas music will be performed under the direction of J. Preston Woolf . The A Cappella, Chamber and Show Choirs will be featured. Popular songs to be performed will include,' Twas the Night Before Christmas, Joy to the World, Silent Night, and a medley of four carols: What Child is This, Hark, The Herald Angels Sing, Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella, and Angels We Have Herd on High. Other songs include the Hallelujah Chorus, Star Carol, Jazz Gloria and Throw the Yule Log On. Beginning at 6 p.m., just before the A Cappella concert, Orem High's junior choirs will perform. The Mixed Mix-ed Chorus, SSA and Madrigals, all directed by Woolf, will sing traditional tradi-tional Christmas carols.
