Andersen of Orem will be married Friday, November 9, 1984, in ceremonies to be preformed in the Orem West Stake Center. Officiating will be Tracy Y. Andersen, father of the groom. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fowler, and Keith Peterson, all of American Fork. A reception will be held to honor the newlyweds at the stake center from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at 546 North 500 West. Attending the bride will be Carla Andersen as maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Kelly Branagan, Shaunna Fowler, Becky Fowler and Misty Ann Peterson. Flower girls will be Angela Peterson, Melanie, Emily and Chrissy Hamilton. Ring bearers will be Penny Prentice and Riley Ney. Sharing best man duties will be Michael Courtney, Kyle Terry, Michael Andersen and John Ney. Special guests at the wedding will be the grandparents of the bride: Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fox, Mrs. Gladys Juber, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Branagan. Grandmothers of the groom who will attend are Mrs. Lucinda Andersen and Mrs. Leona Bailey. The bride elect attended American Fork High School. The prospective groom also attended American Fork High School and Utah Technical College. He is employed in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I 4 4 v.. f MR. AND MRS. RICHARD H. BAUM (Sharon Mulvihill) Richard H. Baum Claims Irish Bride In Dublin Dublin, Ireland, was the scene of the recent marriage of Sharon Mulvihill of Stepaside Co. Dublin, Ireland, and Richard H. Baum of Orem. The couple were married October 26, 1984. The marriage later ' was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. The newlyweds were honored at a reception in Dublin. An open house will be held November 16, 1984, from 7 to 9 p.m. at 457 South 950 East, the home of the groom's parents. All friends and relatives are invited. Attending the bride at the local event will be Kathleen Baum. Craig Baum and Shaun Connelly will share duties as best man. The bride graduated from finishing school in Dublin and was employed as a secretary at a hotel there. Richard graduated from Orem High School and will continue his education at Brigham Young University. While at Orem High he was a Science Sterling Scholar and was captain of the wrestling team. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ireland. The couple will make their home in the Orem-Provo area. BYU Offers 8-Week China Study Tour Brigham Young University's Study Abroad program will offer students for the first time eight weeks of instruction and travel in the Republic of China during the spring of 1985. Dr. Gary S. Williams, chairman of the Department of Asian and Near Eastern Languages said about 15 students will study at the University of Nanjing-one of China's most prestigious universities. The eight-week eight-week excursion will coincide with-BYU's with-BYU's spring term, about April 30 through June 20.
