Show Cascade Course To Hold Grand Opening A grand opening for the Cascade Golf course at 1313 East 800 N. Orem has been set for September Sep-tember 15 for the completion com-pletion of the east end driving range. The course is becoming one-of one-of the most popular golf courses in the state with golfers coming from miles around to tee-off on its greens. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Timp-anogos, Timp-anogos, and surrounded by fruit orchards, it is one of the most attractive attrac-tive settings around. Wire netting has been stretched across the range to a height even the wildest golfers balls can be controlled. T-Boxes T-Boxes have been installed for people to tee -off without with-out endangering other golfers. These T-Boxes will supply a level place for even beginners, with plenty of balls. Mr. Stratton -reports an expansion to make the Driving flange inviting to all, the course is designed for the family in mind, all safety precautions indicate indi-cate the new concept. The main attractionfor the grand opening will be free buckets of balls for everyone to enjoy the newly installed driving range on both Friday and Saturday. The golf restaurant is open- Tuesday . through Saturday for family entertainment. No alcoholic al-coholic beverages will be served for the new family concept. Gregory Pace Called To LDS Oregon Mission Gregory W. Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pace of Orem, has been called to serve as a missionary miss-ionary for the IDS Church in Portland, Oregon, his farewell meeting will be held Sunday, September 10th beginning at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Orem 49th Ward chapel, 481 East Center.
