Show Robert Bale The eight-week-old son of John G. and Barbara Green Bale of Orem, died June 10. Robert Bale was born April 15, 1975 in Provo. He died of a congentail illness at home. Funeral services were last Thursday in Springville Evergreen Ever-green Cemetery. Survivors include his parents and one brother, Scott John, Orem; Or-em; grandparents, Dr. Peter C. Green. She was born inCtishing, Oklahoma Ok-lahoma on Sept. 8, 1932 to Lester and Millie McMa.'-an Hudgins. On Jan 17, 1948, si.e married Bud Andy Flickinger at Ft.Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Flickinger received her education in Oklahoma and was a high school graduate. She was employed by Southwestern Bell in Tulsa, Ok., as an operator. Following her marriage, they made their home in Tulsa, Ok. They moved to Long Beach, Calif, in 1951 and they moved to Orem in 1966. She was a member of the Provo Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of Orem, two sons two daughters, Buddy Andy, Long Beach, Calif., Lester Wayne, Orem, Mrs, Millie Olson, Riverside, Calif., Cindy Flickinger, Orem; two grandchildren; grand-children; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hudgins, Long Beach, Calif., one brother, Lester Lee Hudgins, Lakewood, Calif. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel of Orem, 500 North State. Friends may call prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Ceme-tery. Newsman Dies Newspaperman C ha rles W. Claybaugh died June 9 at the age of 71 inBrighamCity. He was the former publisher of the Box Elder News and Journal. Jour-nal. He had stepped down from active managment of the two weekly papers several years ago. Mr. Claybaugh was a former president oi tne National Editorial Edi-torial Association and the Utah State Press Association. He had also served in the Utah House of Representaives in 1965, and was past president of the Box Elder Chamber of Commerce. In 1968, he received the Amos Award the highest honor of the National Newspaper Association. He had also taught journalism at the University of Utah. His wife, Peggy, two sons and one daughter, survived him. Melvin E. Olsen Funeral services honoring Melvin E. Olsen were held Thursday, June 5, 1975. He died at his home in Copperton June 2, 1975 after a short illness. He was the brother of Mrs. Ruby Thalman of Orem. He married mar-ried Grace Sara Yancey on Nov. 19, 1929 in Orem. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Funeral services were in Gunnison Gunni-son Friday, May 30, and he was buried with military honors in the Gunnison City Cemetery. Mr. Clement was the brother of Mrs. James (Maude) Bell, Orem, Utah. MARVIN LOUIS STAGGE, 54, Ogden. Died of pneumonia Monday, Mon-day, May 26, 1975 in Ogden. Services were held Thursday May 28, and burial was in the Ogden City Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold (JoAnn) Miller, a resident of Orem, is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. Stagge. DUANE McCANDLESS, 68, Pleasant Grove. Died Saturday, May 31, 1975 at the Utah Valley Hospital after a sudden illness.
