The end-of-the-year carnival promises to be filled with all kinds of fun for the kids, including a calf-roping contest. A chuck-wagon chuck-wagon dinner will also be served. Mrs. Arthur Rkhins (right) is the PTA committee chairman. She is assisted by Mrs. Sherrill Listen. In case of bad weather, the carnival car-nival will be automatically cancelled until another time can be arranged. Library Night Is Successful At Hillcrest An overflow crowd recently attended at-tended theHillcrestSchool-Fam-ily Night at the Library. Mrs. Ruby Nicol, Librarian was assisted by the Duane Davis family, PTA Board members, and Sheldon W orthington-a BYU student assigned to Hillcrest as a teacher's aid. The program , held in honor of National Library Week, was designed to acquaint families with the school library and help to motivate them to regular use of library facilities in the school and community. Resident of the home was Terry Stephenson, 155 S. 1200 W. 106. A neighbor, Rob Jorgensen, spotted the fire and used his garden hose to control the blaze until firemen arrived. VANDALS DO $400 DAMAGE TO APARTMENT Vandals stole a medicine cabinet cab-inet and broke all the light fixtures fix-tures and a window in an Orem apartment, 1067 N. 150 W., over ov-er the weekend. According to police reports, the apartment recently had been vacated. The theme A Time To Share has been chosen and the evening even-ing will be devoted to sharing what the children have accom plished throughout the year.
