Corson of Muncy, Pennsylvania, Pennsyl-vania, became the bride of Sky-lar Sky-lar Desmond Weeks on Saturday, April 12. The wedding was performed per-formed by President Hal H. Visick at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Weeks, Jr. of Orem. A reception was held that evening in honor of the couple at the Bungalow ReceptionCenter in Pleasant Grove. A special program during the evening featured fea-tured musical selections by David and Steve Hanks, SkipWeeks,and Richard Weeks brothers of the groom, and a trio comprised of the groom's sisters, Merrie, Shelley, and Rosanna. Mrs. Corson Cor-son accompanied the group. A string quartet provided music throughout the evening's festivities. festivi-ties. The bride wore a gown of soft white chiffon which cascaded in two lengths over a silhouette of peau de soi slipper satin. W eeks of embroidered lace over satin formed the cuffs on the long soft-flowing soft-flowing sleeves and the chapel length veil was formed of sheer bridal illusion outlined with lace. The bridal gown was designed by the bride. The Bride's bouquet was created from pastel blue and white daisies with white roses. Mrs. Marilyn A. Keeser, La Habra, Calif., served as matron of honor for her sister. Miss Betty Gibbons, Gettysbury, Pen-na., Pen-na., was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Janel M. Corson, Muncy, Penna., sister of the bride, and Miss Rosanna Weeks, sister of the bridegroom. Their gowns of powder blue peau de soie satin featured high waisted bodices with overlays of powder blue chiffon and soft-flowing soft-flowing chiffon sleeves. Best man was Ed Robinson, Orem. Also in the line was the groom's brother, Richard Weeks. A luncheon for the wedding party and family at the Wilkinson Center, Cen-ter, Brigham Young University, followed the ceremony. The bridal couple will reside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the summer. They will return to Orem in the fall. Miss Naegle Completes Internship A former Orem resident, Deanne Naegle, has recently completed an internship with the Mountain Bell Public Relations Department in Salt Lake City. Miss Naegle, the daughter of Thell and Donna Naegle now of Pearl City, Hawaii, is one of two interns the telephone company com-pany sponsors each semester from Brigham Young University. The program is an effort to add realism to the school's public relations curriculum by giving students a chance to solve everyday every-day problems incorporate operations. opera-tions. Miss Naegle, 22, is a senior majoring in public relations. Following an April graduation, she hopes to find employment on the east coast in the public relations re-lations field. It has been exciting to find out that after all these years of studying public relations, I really enjoy working in this field", she commented. "I have gained invaluable in-valuable experience." Projects On Exhibit High school wood, metal, drafting, draft-ing, electrical and craft projects will be on display in the Wilkinson Wilkin-son center main ballroom on the Brigham Young University campus tomorrow. H inckley Scholarship uecipienis Ninetecii outstanding students at Brigham Young University have been named winners of the prestigious EdwinSmith Hinckley Scholarships for the 1975-76 Centennial school year. One of them is from Orem. Final selections are made by members of the Hinckley family with the cooperation of the BYU Scholarship Committee. Included , are 14 seniors, three juniors, and two sophomores. The a-wards a-wards range from $680 to? 1,000, depending on the financial need of the recipients. The scholarship fund was established es-tablished in 1954 by the family of the late EdwinSmith Hinckley in honor of the pioneer educator and his wife, Adeline. He was the son of a pioneer family that built Cove Fort in Millard Co.. and he was the first white child born there. Since that time she has taught two years on an assistantship, and one year as part time teacher in the Physical Education Department of Brigham Young University. Mrs. Wright, an active member of the LDS Church is now serving ser-ving as Laurel Advisor in the APYW for the Provo 24th ward, and as camp specialist in the Provo, Utah North Stake.
