Clark Couple Celebrate Golden Wedding The Golden Wedding Anniversary Anniver-sary will be celebrated Tuesday, May 16, 1967, by Albert D.Clark and Virgie Winn Clark at their home at 664 S. 500 E Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Clark were married mar-ried May 16, 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have lived in Los Angeles, Provo and Woodland, Utah, and now reside in Orem. Mr. Clark was in the livestock live-stock and dairy business in Woodland Wood-land and while there served as bishop of Woodland Ward. From there they moved to Provo where they owned and operated the Clark Apartments. Mr. Clark worked at Geneva Steel for 18 years. Mrs. Clark was a school teacher before her marriage. She has been active along with her husband in church work. She was president of Provo First Ward Relief Society. The couple re cently fulfilled a mission to the Eastern Atlantic States. They have one son, Dr. Paul Clark of Rockford, Illinois. Daughter Mary passed away in 1958. They have eight grandchild ren and five great grandchildren. Friends and relatives are in vited to call from 3 to 8 p.m. at their home. The couple requests no gifts. PFC Michael Fenton On Duty in DaNang DA NANG, VIETNAM-Marine Private First Class Michael C. Fenton, son of Mrs. Lillian Fenton Fen-ton of 1024 S. 545 E. Orem, has reported for duty in Da Nang, Vietnam. He will be a member of the First Battalion, llthMarine Regiment, Reg-iment, a unit of the First Marine Division. The primary mission of his ba-talion ba-talion is to provide direct artillery artil-lery support for infantry units of the First Division participating participat-ing in operations against the enemy. Fenton is a graduate of Orem High School, Orem. Some oftiie activities were: Several Sub for Santa projects. pro-jects. A project to send clothing to some needy people in Ethiopia. (Sponsored by Mr. L. Baum's homeroom.) A carwash to raise funds to send the clothing to Ethiopia. Many "cleanrup" projects. Bookracks for the teachers, and pen sets for school guests. The Ninth Grade won over the other grades, and will be able to see a special movie sometime some-time in the near future. The winning win-ning homerooms are: Miss Dudley, 9th grade, with a total of 1508 points. Mr. LBaum, 9th grade, with a total of 1246 points. Mrs. Nielsen, 9th grade, with a total of 1183 points. Mr. Williams, 8th grade, with a total of 1104 points. These homerooms, along with the Student Council and the Newspaper News-paper Staff, will attend the Citizenship Cit-izenship Banquet, which is to be held on May 16 at 6 p.m. We would like to congratulate these homerooms, and all of the other homerooms for their support sup-port and participation. Theme Chosen OJHS Graduation A Time and a Season is the theme for Orem Junior High School'a Ninth Grade graduation exercises, which are to be held May 24, from .7 to 8 p.m., in the Orem Junior High School auditorium. The program will include some of the outstanding students of the ninth grade. Parents Par-ents of ninth graders are cordially cordial-ly invited to attend.
