Tonanw a few let's start with reliable - mothers of each of the swim mem- " bers to see to It that her swim-: ming children attend each swim -session. It means rising at 6:00 a.m. three mornings a week for this purpose. An excellent chauf- " feur, she provides transportation ' to and from the pool, and to and from out of town swim meets. She willingly serves in all and any capacity needing organizing and helps in a number of fields from swim meets to making floats. Then there is Dad who stands the expense of team entrance en-trance fees, use of the pool fee, swim suits, out-of-town expens es. He also , in nis urns on, acts as timer, julge and devoted supporter at all thevarlousSwlm meets. ; . Mast important the coach and trainer who devote and donate free of charge their many hours of time to instructing and building build-ing a team. A coach pays his own expenses to and from out-of-town swim meets and dedicates a portion of his vacation timo to attending the recently held two-day two-day A.A.U. Meet in Brigham City. Let us mention the swim com mittee of dedicated ladles who's job it Is to organize and support the local swim events, cover the paper work and act as assistant trainees at the pool when needed. They arrange for transportation and act as chaperones for swimmers swim-mers who parents are unable to attend out-of-town m&ets. Let us consider the Scera Board who has made the swim team possible and the Scera per sonnel who have helped In every way with the swimming program from paper work to conducting meets. To the swimmers them-r selves for the countless hours of practice and of effort and sport- mmship. These are only a few of .the people Involved but to all who have had i part In supporting the Scera Swim Team, may" we gratefully say "THANK -YOU"l It is the desire of the Swim Committee to see a bigger, and stronger team developed in the years to come. Kennedy, one of the nation's leading bankers, will deliver the commencement address ad-dress at the Brigham Young University Un-iversity summer convocation Aug. 19, It was announced today by President Ernest L. Wilkinson. Wilkin-son. Mr. Kennedy is chairman of the board of Continental Illinois National Na-tional Bank and Trust Company, Chicago, the seventhlargestbank in United States. The academic procession for commencement services will begin be-gin at 7 p.m. from the north campus quad, then proceed down the hill side ramp to the George Albert Smith Fieldhouse where the exercises will begin at 7:30 p.nu ..; A native ofRandolph,Utah,Mr. Kennedy is a graduate of Weber College, George Washington University Uni-versity and the Stover School of Banking of Rutgers University. He holds th e M.A. and LL.B. 'degrees. Honorary doctorates have been conferred on him by BYU, George Washington University Univer-sity and Roosevelt University at Chicago. - He served the Federal Reserve Board from 1930 to 1946 where he became assistant to the chairman chair-man of the board. After seven years with the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company Com-pany he returned to Washington to serve as assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury, 1953-1954. 1953-1954.
