Show DAV, Auxiliary To Install Hew Officers Thursday, June 20, at 8 p.m. the Orem DA.V. and Auxiliary Auxi-liary will have their installation installa-tion ceremonies at the Orem Veterans building, to install officers for the local organizations organiza-tions for the 1963-64 year. The following members will be installed: Commander, Leonard Leo-nard Gabbitas; Senior Vice Commander, Jess L. Slater; Junior Vice Commander, Grant Iverson; Chaplain, Howard Ho-ward Stevens; Sergeant-at-Arms, Joseph Gardiner; Ad jutant Fred Fielding. The Auxiliary officers will be, Hannah Slater, president Ina Iverson, Sr. Vice President; Presi-dent; Lea'h Vincent, Jr. Vice President; Linda Nielsen, Chaplain; Adjutant-Treasurer, Mildred Fielding. After the formal initiation ceremonies, a buffet supper will be served to all members and guests. The Utah Amputatee Chapter Chap-ter at Large will shaTe this installation, in-stallation, to install their new officers. Installing officers will be, for the chapter, Department De-partment Past Commander, Edward Shockey, and for the ladies, Mrs. Florance Valgard-son, Valgard-son, immediate Department , Past Commander. The Intermountain Elance Convention was the first to be held in Salt Lake City and it was an overwhelming success. Teachers came from nearly all of the Intermountaiin States and as far away as Washington State. On the faculty for the convention were: Al Gilbert, George Jack, Dorothy Vose, all of Los Angeles; Betty Anderson, An-derson, Idaho Falls; William Christiansen, and Jody Elder, both of Salt Lake City. Deadline for entering is midnight, June 22nd. Filing an early application applica-tion is encouraged because final contestants will be limited limit-ed to twenty girls.
