Many novel and beautiful hats were worn with Mrs. Raymond Stewart and Mrs. Lionel Fairbanks Fair-banks winning first prize for their attractive chapeaus, and Mrs. Mary Jones for the most novel hat The program was narrated by Mrs. Frank Woffinden, who read a cleverly composed letter recalling events of the good old days." Anderson in the Manti Temple, Carol Jean Meldrum became the bride of Jerry Jensen. A reception honored the couple the same evening at the Orem Fourth-Fifth LDS Ward Hall.
