Funeral Services For Orem Woman Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel for Vera Iowna Frampton Moore, 58, who died at her home Monday following an extended illness. Bishop Milton G. Smith of the Orem Sixth Ward officiated. She was born Sept. 14, 1899, in Orem, a daughter of Joseph Franklin and Dora Bacon Frampton. Orem Marble And Hopscotch Winners Announced Four winners in each of four grade divisions were announced Saturday following the city-wide city-wide hopscotch tournament sponsored i nOrem schools by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. They are: Barbara Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Rasmussen, third grade; Barbara Bar-bara Wellington, daughter of Mr. ere shock. Damages were approximately $300 to Christensen car; $600 to Barney car and about $125 to Griffen car. A citation was given giv-en to Mrs. Christensen for following fol-lowing too close. Runner up who will also attend the state meet is Michael Bishop, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bishop. Jimmy represented the Windsor Wind-sor school as their first place winner and Michael was chosen as the first place winner of Westmore school according to Grant J. Johnson, chairman of the contest. After their marriage they moved to Bingham, Bing-ham, Utah and in 1938 moved back to Orem where she had lived until her death. Mrs. Moore was an active member of the LDS Church serving as Sunday School teach er and for many years was a visiting teacher for the Relief Society. Her parents were early pioneers of Orem. She loved to grow flowers and did much nee dle work. Surviving are her husband, one son and one daughter, Omar Frampton Moore, Orem, and Mrs. Hollis (Marva Laree) Johnson, Provo, and two grandchildren. grand-children.
