Beatty announce the engagement and forthcoming forthcom-ing marriage of their daughter Mary Louise and John Dean Robbin, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Robbin of Los Altos, California Calif-ornia . Miss Beatty is a 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School where she was a member of the Art Club. She graduated from the San Mateo Junior College, Department of Cosmetology. She has been employed as a beautician and also serves as a photographer's photo-grapher's model. Mr. Robbin, was graduated from high school in Los Angeles, Calif, and attended the" San Mateo College for one year. The ceremony will be performed in San Mateo, Aug 4, at the home of Mrs. Charles Cozier, an Aunt with whom the bride-elect has been living while going to school in California. The couple exchanged vows April 5 in the same place immediately preceding the reception with Bishop Ralph Fletcher officiating. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Almo D. Lloyd of Orem The bride-to-be is a Senior at Provo High School where she is active in the Pep Club, Phi Gamma Psi and the Madrigal Choir. She is a graduate of Lincoln High School and LDS Seminary. The cost will be $1.25 per person. , OREM COUPLE VISITS CHILDEN IN ROOSEVELT Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Moon visit ed three days in Roosevelt with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. Que Steele. Mr. Steele teaches school In Roose velt. While there they visited also with Mr. and Mrs. Moroni and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dudley of Jensen, Utah. Mother's Honored Saturday By Jaycee Wives A Mother's Day luncheon and program will be held by the Orem Jaycee Wives at Parks Cafe at 3:30 p. m. Saturday afternoon. The committee chairman Is Mrs. Dick Fausett and co-chair man Mrs. Jack Sheffeld. There will be a short program. ral Ogilvie returned Tuesday morning from Utah Valley Hospital Hos-pital where she has been under going treatment for a hip in jury. She will foe on crutches for a few weeks. TEMPLE RITES UNITE COUPLE Marie Griffiths, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rex Griffiths was united in Marriage to Buehl L. Struthers, April 4, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Tem-ple by President EIRay L. Christiansen. A reception honored the couple the following evening at the Rivergrove LDS Ward Hall. The bride wore a beautiful lace satin and nylon gown fashioned by her mother. Her matching lace veil fell from a beaded cap, and she carried a bouquet of carnations' roses and stephanotis. Don Griffiths was master of ceremonies at the program and the guests danced afterward. Many beautiful beau-tiful gifts were presented to the honored couple. MEL WALLACE HOSPITALIZED Mel Wallace was admitted to the Utah Valley hospital this week where he is undergoing observation and treatment for a stomach condition.
