Show YOUR mwvt PAGE Vineyard Girl Earns Perfect Attendance Award Jr t: OREM COMMUNITY CHUKOT TO HOLD MEETING The meeting of the 'Womens Federation of the Orem Com munity Church will meet Tuesday, Tues-day, April 16 at 8 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Sam Conk at 412 No. 750 East, Orem. Rev. Verne Robinson will present pre-sent the program, with Mrs. Welsh McKensie leading the devotions. de-votions. Refreshments will be served by Mrs. Hollis Bartz and Mrs. Sam Conk. ( LI Marie Gammon, daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Ray Gammon of Vineyard Ward, Orem Stake, has earned the enviable record of six years of perfect attend-, ance in Sacrament Meeting and Sunday School and with the exception ex-ception of one meeting missed In her Beehive year she would have had six years of perfect attendance in MIA. Other achievements attained or those of being an Honor Bee, MIA Joy, and Silver Gleaner. She has been a Primary teacher teac-her and is now MIA organist. Miss Gammon has completed a Genealogy course and is still active in this work. She is a graduate of LDS Seminary and will be a graduate from Orem High School this year. Turner to Show Film To Womens Club Orem Womens Club will meet April 17, at the Scera Lounge, and will have Professor Glen Turner from Springville as their guest artist. Mr. Turner will present "Adventures "Ad-ventures in animation" one of his amateur films which has made him an international winner for his film , work. Among his other films are "Sorcerer "Sor-cerer of Shad" in which puppets, pup-pets, made by the Turner family, fami-ly, are brought to life by bg magic of the camera. Kia Ora Club of BYU Presents 'A Temple In the South Pacific" Long hours of practice will show their results Friday, April 12, at 8:15 p. m. in the Smitft Fieldhouse when the Kia Club presents its annual spring show. The program which will be centered cen-tered around the theme "A Temple Tem-ple In the South Pacific" will show a model of the New Zealand Zea-land temple during construction. The audience will see the temple tem-ple at it is nears completion as well as the incidents leading to the chosing of the site. , Bill Martin and Grant Grover are writing the script; Loretta Vance is in charge of the pro grams; Audrey Bean and Eldon Davis are working on the sets Janice Larsen is in charge of publicity and those working with her are Cheril James, Nav-ada Nav-ada Neeley, Phil Bellon, Eleanor Elean-or Pezoldt and Gary Anderson. Marv Burton is in charge of ticket sales. The songs and dances, in cluding several new ones, are under the leadership of Sam Atoa. Students and faculty of BYU will be admitted on their activi ty cards. The Bold Galliean' Retold by O. F. Club Speaker The O. F. Club met at the home Mrs. Moroni Jensen Monday Mon-day evening. Mrs. Joseph Redd gave a re told story on "The Bold Gal ilean" by Legette Blythe. This was a biblical novel set in the time of Christ which concerns con-cerns three young romans and the effect that Christ had on their life. Mrs. Jensen was hostess and served an attractive tray lunch- eon. Decorations was of an Eas ter Motif throughout the en tertaining area. One guest was present Mrs. James A. Needham and the fol-J lowing members. AND MRS. LOUIS SIMPSON Mr. and Mrs. Brady Walker, aunt and un cle of the bride, held a reception at their home for family members mem-bers and close friends. Mrs. Simpson, the former Jerrie Henrie, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Henrie of Provo. Louis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Simpson of Orem. Jerrie graduated from Provo High School. Louis graduated from Lincoln Lin-coln High School where he was active in music. He has served two years in the U. S. Army. They were married recently in Elko, Nevada.
