Boy Scout Ed Hills of Hill Cres! ward returned last week from the National Scout-Jamboree at Valley Forge-. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. West Hills. Ed went with a group of local boys. They spent three weeks. on the trip and visited points of interest inter-est in Chicago, .Detroit. Philadelphia, Phila-delphia, New York and Washington Wash-ington D-C. They also visited places of importance in LDS church history and saw the statue stat-ue of liberty. Each boy took his turn cooking at the Jamboree Camp. On the day . Ed cooked he was surprised to have Utah Parks Executive Rulon Doman and one of the national heads of Scouting as guests. Ed took with him many souvenirs from Utah, such as small bags of coal marked mark-ed "Utah Coal", that he gave to the boys from other states and he received many souvenirs to return. Before Ed left Orem the Hill Crest troop presented him with a watch as a token of non- Mr. and Mrs. John Burrowes of Roseburg, ' Oregon spent Thursday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Del Lucas in Orem.
