Editor Legion Auxiliary Plans Benefit Party Plans for a benefit card party were discussed at the meeting of the Orem Legion Auxiliary, held on Wednesday evening at the Veterans Memorial building- The date for the party will be announced as sonn as plans are complete. During the business meeting a vote was taken in favor of donating to the Orem rheuma ic fever fund. The ladies discussed dis-cussed their community project of getting a baby incubator for the health center. Literary Club Project To Help Finance Mendelssohn Trip Members of the Orem Literary Liter-ary club have completed their plans for their cake sale which) will raise funds for the Mendelssohn Mendel-ssohn chorus- The sale , will be conducted on Saturday, beginning begin-ning at 10 a m. at Dick Park's Super Market and at Esquires Top Hill mart. Mrs- Thomas A. Jacob, president of the club, is chairman of the sale. Mrs-L. B. Bennett, chairman for the drive in Orem. Several of the local groups have already contributed and others will meet this week and give members an opportunity to contribute to one of Utah county's coun-ty's most serious maladies. Proceeds Pro-ceeds of the drive are to help build a Rheumatic Fever convalescent conval-escent home in the county. Bishop Taylor Allen was in charge of the Old Time program. Twenty-eight members of the ward who were living in Vineyard Vine-yard 50 years ago were honor, ed guests.
