They will go up Friday evening and spend Saturday filling some of their out door cells. Their teacher, Mrs. Norma Dee Jameson, will accompany them. Tuesday evening a party was held at the home of M. J. Hill for the Senior scouts and Junior girls- The feature of the evening was a treasure hunt. The refreshments and decorations were of the Halloween Hallow-een Motif. The Hill Crest M. I. A. is planning a Halloween dance to be held on the 29 of October in the Grand View Amusement Hall. It will be a costume party. The M Men and Gleaner girls met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Laird Billings Sunday evening for a fire side chat. Bishop Milton Mil-ton Jameson led in the discussion discus-sion of the first section of the Doctrin and Covenants. Mrs Billings served refreshments to the group. A fireside chat was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs- Angus Moss for the Senior scouts and the Junior girls. Counselor Floyd Johnson told them of ex periences during his Mission in Canada- Sunday evening the Junior Scouts and Beehive girls met at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Mir.cn Jameson. Leno Martin was in charj.e of this group. Mr. and Mrs. Charles King and Mrs. James helped with the program. The L. D. Mrs. Thelma Schauerhamer read a play and chose a cast for it. It will be presented in Mutual Mu-tual at a later date. The Hill Crest Relief Society wishes to announce the following follow-ing schedule for the dress making mak-ing class taught by Mrs. Estella Park. The class will be aeld after Relief Society on the following fol-lowing days: October 21; October Octo-ber 28; November 18; November Novem-ber 25, all in 1947, and January 20 and January 27, in 1948. Mr. Waldo Harris of Chicago, Illinois, came home for the deer hunt. He is visiting at the home of his mother Mrs. Lexia Har. ris. Dr. George E. Harris came from Ogden for a short visit with his brother Waldo, on his way to Holden, Utah, where he went deer hunting. There will be no Sunday School held in the ward October 26, because of Sharon Stake Conference. The Geneva Relief Society officers were sustained in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Myrtle Kitchn 1s president with Geneva Steele, first counselor coun-selor and Luzon Crosby, second counselor. They will hold their meetings each Wednesday at p.m. in the Timpanogos ward chapel. The M Men and Gleaners held their annual election banquet ban-quet at the A. H. Christensen home. Classleaders, Mrs. Ruby Cameron and Mrs. Lucy Rowley were in charge, and the ward Primary officers were special guests. Twenty-four boys and girls spent the evening playing games around the fire. The Relief Society ladies completed com-pleted three quilts during their work and business meeting last week. Refreshments were served serv-ed by Mrs. Thomas Biggs and Mrs- Nervin Booth. The literary lesson was given under the dir ection of class leader, Mrs. Den nis at this week's meeting- Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marshall have returned to their home in Canada after visiting with friends since conference. Plans for the new Vermont ward chapel will be completed this week and will be sent to the Presiding Bishopric for fin al approval. It is reported that construction may begin before tne end of the year. James Blair, who underwent a major operation at the Bingham hospital is reported to be im proving.
