It has been said, "we either go forward or backward", but that we never stand still. This is true in more ways than one financially speaking; still there's another side to having a job, depending de-pending on the individuals circumstances cir-cumstances and attitude. If the person is healthy minded they will find joy abundance in the independence a job affords fun in being in the swing of things, and happy in their contacts con-tacts with others. Associating with others, and learning to get along under all sorts of conflicting cercum-stances, cercum-stances, gives to life a scope not to be found in idleness it also gives that grand outlook on life, that says, I am not alone in this world, of working people for a period of the day you forget yourself, and the problems that fret and worry you, that clog up the mental machinery. After awhile . you begin to make friends, they like you, and are confiding in you. It gives you the importance that comes from being liked and trusted, it gives you a lift, your ego is expanding, ex-panding, then you begin to feel like a new person and you discover dis-cover that grandma was right when she said, "a body rusts out quicker than it wears out". You have taken on a new personality, you feel it in the way people react to you like a cocoon you are ready to take flight from the old out shell, flight from the old worn out shell, the mind and soul are recreated, re-created, life has many interests it never had before. After a while you add a dash of charm you are happy and joyous in your contacts con-tacts with others. You forget to find fault with those you disliked dis-liked before, in fact they are beginning to be very likeable people this brings gladness to the heart. Now you are growing grow-ing more sure of your mental footsteps, so to speak you are rising still further in the art of appreciation of others' efforts-Life efforts-Life is now made up of growths, the growing of the inner person; like climbing the ladder of. life you are a step up the ladder of human endeavor now there's a whole new world to be explored explor-ed in a job, and it is all high adventure. "There something elastic about a job, that stretches out to meet situations and personalities, person-alities, you are now mentally alert, no time to brood, to become be-come bored no time to feel sorry for one's self and the competition in business is so keen as to keep one on their toes, forging ahead a whole new world of possibilities open up; you are finding adventure in having a job.
