Cooke, fresh off a 14th-place finish fin-ish at last week's Breckenridge, Colo. NORBA Semi-Pro race, spent most of Friday's race passing other competitors on the climbs. "It was actually kind of easy for me," Cooke said. "The climbing was all dirt road and to me it felt like a road race. Semi-Pro riders made three eight-mile laps in Friday's crosscountry cross-country race that included several stream crossings. The 16-mile cross country race on Saturday was more technical and Cooke struggled a little more.
