Call 649-2865 ICHIBAN Pet of the week TTTj Fall is a lucrative time of year for pet groomers due to burrs, stickers, and prickers. It is important to carefully rid your pet of these. Leaving these irritants on your pet's coat will could cause irritation irri-tation and, eventually, infection. To avoid potential "burr hassles," consider adopting this beautiful, beauti-ful, seven-month-old chocolate labGerman shorthair mix from the Summit County Animal Shelter. She is essentially burr-resistant because of her easy to manage, short-haired coat that is so shiny, you might call it seal skin. Because of her friendly, playful disposition, she is ready for a home with energetic, loving children. Also awaiting adoption at the shelter are two beautiful, well-mannered well-mannered female heelermixes, and a loveable, male pit bull terrier. Or come see the male cocker spaniel who is good with children. There are also six male and female "fur-ball-57", or "Heinz 57", puppies. The shelter is located three miles east of Wanship at the intersection intersec-tion of S.R. 32 and Hoytsville Road. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday, Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or call 649-5449 for more information. Volunteers from Summit County Friends of the Animals are fostering fos-tering a people-loving, neutered, male terriermix, a cute, female border colliemix puppy, and a sweet, female German wirehair pointer. And the Friends always have cats and kittens available, as well. All adoptable pets have current vaccinations. Please call Nancy at 649-5441 if you can provide a loving home for any of these animals. Valid through 93096 Americans are given the freedom free-dom to choose which candidate to elect, or whether to vote at all. When compared to the number of eligible voters in America, the percentage per-centage that actually votes is alarming. alarm-ing. Unfortunately, only a handful of Americans exercise their right to vote and decide the leadership and direction of our country. Two national service organizations organiza-tions have joined forces to educate and encourage American citizens to register and vote in this upcoming presidential election. Members of the National Exchange Club and The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) have set a goal to register one million voters during their "Get Out the Vote" campaign. The National Exchange Club is a national service organization comprised com-prised of men and women volunteers volun-teers dedicated to making America a better place to live through one national project, Prevention of Child Abuse, and other community service projects. The U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce is an organization comprised com-prised of men and women volunteers volun-teers who provide young people with the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills through local community service and government involvement. Both organizations are non-partisan. For more information on how you can get involved in the "Get Out the Vote" campaign in this area, call The National Exchange Club at 1-800-924-2643, or The U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce at 1-800-529-2337. Summit County residents will have the opportunity to vote for a state representative and a U.S. Congressman. Deadlines for voting registration are Oct 28 and 29, with no home registration agents this year. Registration applications are available in all public assistance buildings, in the phone book, and in all U.S. Post Office locations. r AKO WEATHERBy BROWING MOSSBERG RUGER Savage SAVAGE BOLT ACTION BIG GAME RIFLE HARDWOOD STOCK REMMINGTON WINCHESTER S s5S WINCHESTER MODEL 70 STAINLESS STEEL FEATHERWEIGHT BOLT ACTION CLAW EXTRACTOR WALNUT STOCK I Hhl Why "totter around with other brands!
