Show n Ooen Letter To Anvone Not Yet Plannina To Go To Church This Sunday A year ago this month a hope was born to start a church in Park City that would be made up of people from a wide variety of spiritual experiences. In June of this year I moved with my family to Park City and spoke to many of you for ideas for a new community - oriented church. Well, you have been heard! And with your prayers and support, Park City Presbyterian Church opens its doors for a Grand Opening this Sunday, October 10, at 10:00 A.M. Park City Presbyterian Church has a vision to become a church which WILL NOT: bore you with irrelevant messages in archaic language that mean nothing to your life. judge you or condemn people for mistakes or problems with which they are struggling. heap guilt on people just when they're reaching out for understanding and help. make you feel as though you have to use a pick - ax to break into the "in - crowd." I believe that churches need to meet the needs we all have as Christ met them. That's why Park City Presbyterian Church WILL: give you the inspiration and confidence you need to face the week ahead. bring out the best in you by helping you get in tune with God's plan for your life. strengthen your marriage and family, provide genuine friendships, and help you succeed in the real world. speak to and meet the personal needs you have as a "Nineties Family." give your young children and teenagers a spiritual environment that will make them look forward to, rather than dread, "Church." Why am I spending the money to write you this letter? Because I believe you are looking for a church like Park City Presbyterian and God cares about you and your needs. I personally invite you - and yes -1 encourage you! - to invest just one hour this Sunday with friends at Park City Presbyterian Church. Take the risk and postpone, for just an hour or two, that big brunch or golf game or hike or bike ride. Experience the vitality and the hope found in a Sunday Celebration Service. I promise you will not be bored, embarrassed or find your time wasted. If you've never been to church or haven't been for a long time, that's ok since our service is specially designed for people like you! Come and start fresh at this first meeting of Park City Presbyterian Church! Believe me. The "good life" can get even better. Park City Presbyterian Church: Go for it, this Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Why? Because you were made to enjoy and succeed in life, not just survive.
