Show NC arrived at St. Albans on New Year's Day thus year and began work as Ward Nurse in Orthopedics. Ortho-pedics. In May, when LCDR A. II. Pin-tar received orders, LCDR Riasmussen relieved her as super visor of the Central Surgical Service, or CSR. A native of Bingham Canyon, Utah, she was graduated from the Holy Cross Hcspital School of Nursing in Salt Lake City. She was commissioned com-missioned in the Navy in October Octo-ber of 1944 lin Salt Lake City. Before her Navy duty, however, she was employed as operating room, delivery room, and clinical clin-ical nurse .in Bingham Canyon Hospital. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Am-erican Nurses Association, sine has served sea duty from 1949 to 1951 and for nearly 'two more years before reporting here.
