Game room and gym open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Recreation Dept. office hours are noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Language survival course The Park City Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced announ-ced that the University of Utah will offer a basic SpanishMexican Cultural and Language Survival Course. The 30-hour, non-credit course will be three nights a week for five weeks, with each class two hours long. The class will begin approximately Oct. 15, and needs at least 20 interested persons. Cancer screening clinic Cancer screening clinic will be held Wednesday, October 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Park City Community Clinic, 1515 Park Avenue. The clinic examination will include: pap smear, pelvic examination, breast examination, blood pressure check, hemoccult kits for detecting colorectal cancer. can-cer. Linda Singer, special education teacher at Parley's Park Elementary School, will speak to all interested parents and professionals on school readiness of the pre-school child. She will talk about how to prepare your child for the step into kindergarten, kin-dergarten, and what signs to look for when they aren't ready.
